Baba Buntu is an experienced counsellor having worked with youth, families and communities as an African-centered mentor, facilitator and therapist for more than 25 years. He holds a PhD and Master degree in “Philosophy of Education”, and is also a qualified social worker, therapist and mentor. Together with his wife, Mama Tebogo Buntu, he runs eBukhosini Solutions – a company specializing in African-focused learning programs and services. He is a committed community builder and a father figure to many young people.
My services are rooted in Afrikan approaches to holistic health. I offer counseling, therapeutic learning journeys, introspective dialogues and customized transformation plans suited for each individual and situation. I specialize in assisting African men on their journey towards building “The King Within”, working through traumas and developing self-integrity. I also create healing and empowerment journeys for young people and provide pre-marital and couple’s counseling.
Issues related to identity conflicts, racial traumas, emotional imbalance, inner conflicts, compulsive behaviors and abusive tendencies are among the focal themes. In my work I center African cultural values, spiritual wisdom and consciousness. Methods include conversations, creative tools, spiritual approaches and use of natural remedies. The services are suited for African people of all nationalities.
